Then you're gonna love Sephiroth from KHI. Not having quick select sucks coc. D :

It's really one of the main reasons that Sephiroth was so easy in KHII, I think I would've died like a dog at level 49 without it.

Though if you're having trouble with his combos... Use guard and have counterguard equipped, his combos become worthless, on the ground or in the air.

I never used Guard I was using Glide (fly a little) to dodge his moves and I ended up knowing all of his moves and when he use it, and not having quick select sucks O_O

But considering that you want to be 'in his face' as much as possible. It stops a lot of his more vicious attacks. I only use the 'hit and run' tactic in KH2 on the hades paradox cup: round 49.
