I have a few, considering the large multitude of characters in the game, but the 4 I liked the most were -

Celes - She's just an amazing heroine, she goes through so much during the game, and her relationship with Locke is <3 And, the Opera scene pwns all.

Locke - Loved his relationship with Celes and how he developed throughout the game.

Terra - Loved her character development, and her theme is amazing.

Mog - Cute Moogle, what else is there to say? xD

Definitely Celes. Big fan here.

I loved the Runic command, it would've been legendary to see in other games. D=

She was such a useful little jewel when climbing the tower of Kefka's cult, even though the bastard atop the tower killed me with ultima. At least I was able to get to the top with her. <3
