Final Fantasy I - VI, the games that started it all.

The first instalment of the series to be originally released for the Playstation, also the first one to be released with 3D movement and graphics.

Discussion of the game that reinvented final fantasy, and introduced the Junction system, as well as Triple Triad.

The last instalment ever to be released originally for the Playstation, FF9 returned to the roots of Final Fantasy in terms of characters and jobs, yet introduced interesting twists to abilities and other such features.

The first game to be released for the PS2, FF10 set a new standard for the quality and look of the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy X-2 (2/12)

Also called Final Fantasy Online, FF11 was the first FF MMOG ever to be released.

Presumably the last "main" game to be released on the PS2, FF12 broke the tradition of Battle Screens. It was also the sixth game ever to receive a perfect 40/40 score from the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu.

The upcoming Playstation 3 debut game, not much is known about the game thus far

Also known as the Mana Series. Most epic FF spinoff to date.
